Net earnings were $3.9 million, or $0.57 per share (diluted), compared with earnings of $1.4 million, or $0.23 per share (diluted), in the 2013 second quarter.

Net sales for the 2014 first quarter were $41,027,000 compared with 2013 first quarter sales of $30,985,000.
